How to lighten your hair

Hello,

I wanted to to create a blog post on the steps I took to get lighter hair as it was a very long hard process which took patience and commitment.

1. I got a blonde bleach kit from Boots: Jerome Russell Blonde Kit

2. I then had to wait the ginger/yellow period out as you need to rest your hair so it doesn't become brittle and dry

3. Then i went and got the colour I wanted my end result to look like and left that on for half an hour. I used the: Garnier Olia Colour in Ash Blonde

My Weight Story and Slimming World

So most women have all been there where our “devil” (dark side) always talks us down and makes us want to lose weight. Growing up the media made sure the public knew if you were “small” you would be beautiful. When I was 16 I did a photo shoot with an agency in London and they said “yes you photograph well but your too fat to get into the model industry” which as you can guess destroyed me when I was young.

However…

As I’m growing up I’m starting to learn about my body and a MASSIVE key factor is Slimming World, going back a few years ago I tried a few times but that dark side always talked me down and I gave up on it. Since early this year I re-joined and have stuck to it… Yes it’s hard and Yes I have bad weeks but recently I have really thought what I’m putting into my body and really enjoying sticking to plan.

It’s a huge help that I have an amazing consultant (Kerry) she is understanding and an amazing caring women who brightens your week up when you go. In group it’s always about amazing love and support and no one ever judges you on what you have lost or gained and it’s an amazing journey in my life at the moment.

So I’m hoping as I get older and lose weight the healthiest way possible I will learn to love myself. So I wish I could go back to and tell my 16 year old self to accept her body and other great things will come!

If you have ever thought about joining Slimming World I can 100% say it works if you give it chance and stick to it!

All Things Autumn

Hello,
Like most people I know I can agree with that this is the start of my fav part of the year !
The cold but yet sunny mornings, the burnt orange and red colored leaves and clothes, dark lipstick, hot drinks (coffee !) and the amazing warm clothes to layer with.
Then you have Halloween and bonfire night then the most exciting time of the year... Christmas !!

Here's just some examples to get you all excited :)

1. Autumn Colours: As you walk through the parks/streets and see all these amazing colours that cover the floor.....

2. Hot Drinks: Either Alcoholic or non-alcoholic its nicer to enjoy when your cold :)

3. Clothing: I love this time of year to get cosy and comfy all the time and to experiment with layering your textures...

4. Makeup : I love experimenting with lipstick but best of all I get to wear dark colours now !

5. And at the very end is of course Christmas !! its my absolutely favourtive time of the year and not ashamed to say I get very excited to see all the Christmas decorations out in October :). If I were someone from a film you could say im abit like Will Ferall in Elf .....

Mini Beauty Buy

So I popped into boots which is always a bad idea... I went in for a gradual tanner as the one i'm using now is a Dove one but it has shimmer bits in which makes me look like a disco ball !
So ill be trying out this L'Oreal Sublime Bronze

So there's a deal going on at the moment 3 For 2 on all beauty ... All ?

 yes it made it impossible to pick.. I had to pick up more foundation as I have nearly run out and had to repurchase this Rimmel wake me up foundation as its amazimg !!

Then I had to get more mascara as i'm running on a sample of benefit and Primark mascara but nothing is as good as this Rimmel colossal mascra !

So that left one thing to get ... I was in there for ages ... how could you pick aha i did want the No7 Luminous highlighter but they didn't have them in stock.
So I went with this pretty coral/orange Rimmel London lipstick
